Receptor
PD-L1
Programmed Death Ligand 1: upregulated on tumour cells (oncogenic EGFR/KRAS/PI3K/MYC → STAT3 → PD-L1) and by adaptive immune resistance (TIL IFN-γ → JAK1/2 → STAT1 → PD-L1).
Also called: programmed death ligand 1, CD274, B7-H1

In short
- 1What it is: a receptor in molecules and receptors.
- 2How it connects: acts on 1 and is affected by 3 concepts — mostly 2 cell, 1 disease, 1 biomarker.
- 3Where it sits: failure, target on the 15-step immune chain.
What it does
PD-L1 TPS/CPS used as predictive biomarker: TPS ≥50% → pembrolizumab monotherapy NSCLC (KEYnote-024); CPS ≥10 → TNBC, gastric, HNSCC.
