Receptor
IL-12 receptor
Receptor complex mediating IL-12 signalling.
Also called: IL-12 receptor, IL-12Rβ1/β2, interleukin-12 receptor

In short
- 1What it is: a receptor in molecules and receptors.
- 2How it connects: acts on 1 and is affected by 1 concepts — mostly 1 molecule, 1 pathway.
- 3Where it sits: signalling, response on the 15-step immune chain.
What it does
IL-12Rβ1+IL-12Rβ2 → JAK2/TYK2 → STAT4 → T-bet; shared IL-12Rβ1 with IL-23R → ustekinumab (anti-p40) blocks both IL-12 and IL-23 signalling; IL-12Rβ1 or IL-12Rβ2 deficiency → susceptibility to NTM and Salmonella
