Biomarker
Anti-dsDNA antibody
IgG antibodies against double-stranded DNA: produced by autoreactive GC B cells (Tfh-dependent) in SLE; form immune complexes → complement activation → glomerular deposition → lupus nephritis.
Also called: anti-double-stranded DNA, anti-dsDNA, dsDNA antibody

In short
- 1What it is: a biomarker in research methods.
- 2How it connects: acts on 2 and is affected by 1 concepts — mostly 1 molecule, 2 disease.
- 3Where it sits: biomarker, failure on the 15-step immune chain.
What it does
Standard SLE monitoring biomarker: rising anti-dsDNA + falling C3/C4 = LN flare predictor.
